Celebrate Father’s Day – Music in the Park at Dayboro
This Father’s Day, head to Dayboro’s Roderick A. Cruice Park for a free outdoor concert that’s perfect for families and music lovers.
On Sunday 7 September (1–5 PM), the park will come alive with talented local musicians playing folk and acoustic tunes. The event promises a relaxing afternoon of live music, delicious food, and great company – all set in a lovely, laid-back picnic atmosphere.
Bring a blanket or camp chair, grab the kids (and even the dog on a leash), and enjoy a chilled-out day of tunes and fun. The vibe is very family-friendly: kids can play on the grass, everyone can sample eats from onsite food trucks, and dads can even tell (or hear) a few light-hearted PG-rated jokes from the stage. With music under shady trees and picnic vibes all around, it’s a great way to unwind together.
Stage Program
From 1 PM to 5 PM the main stage will feature four local acts. The schedule of performances (all free to enjoy) is:
| Time | Performer |
| 1:00 PM | Chloe Marks |
| 2:00 PM | Strings ’n’ Wood |
| 3:05 PM | Just Cruisin |
| 4:10 PM | Levi Xander |
Each band is made up of Moreton Bay musicians playing lively, family-friendly music – a real showcase of the area’s local talent. (Keep your ears peeled for bonus fun like a PG-rated dad joke contest – it’s all part of the show.)
