Teddy Bears Picnic

Pack your picnic blanket, gather your favourite teddy, and head to Pine Rivers Park, Strathpine for the much-loved Teddy Bears’ Picnic! From 9am to 1pm on Thursday, 11 September, families can enjoy a jam-packed morning of live entertainment, kids’ activities, food, and market stalls.

This free event, bringing together music, storytelling, dancing, and endless fun for little ones (and their teddies, of course!).

PLAY 🎨

Kids will be spoiled for choice with free activities including wildlife presentations, ballet classes, face painting, roving performers, and amusement rides like the Frog Hopper, Tea Cups, and “Toot, Toot” All Aboard. Don’t miss the Teddy Bear Parade at 12:45pm — the perfect chance for kids and their cuddly friends to shine!

The Main Stage Program is packed with family-friendly entertainment, from Aunty Sharron & The Daughts to Proudfoot and Friends, Tiny Twinkle Toes Ballet, and Zumba for Kids. Plus, the Buskers Stage will showcase amazing local talent throughout the morning.

Foodies young and old can tuck into tasty treats from food trucks including Aus Fresco, Baked Spuds, Mystica Burgers, Fritz’s Wieners, Dippin’ Dots Ice Cream, OMG Donuts, and more. Whether you’re craving a BBQ feast, something sweet, or a refreshing drink, there’s something for every appetite.
