Motel FAQS

What is the earliest I can Check-in?

Standard check in time is 2 pm, and an early check-in may be available upon request. Please call the Motel on 0403 138 249 to make an early check-in arrangement. Fees may be applicable for check-ins prior to 12 noon.

What is the latest I can Check-in?

Check-in at the office is available until 7pm, we are not a 24-hour motel.
Office hours are 8 am to 7 pm. We can organise a late check-in for guests arriving after 7 pm and this needs to be organised prior to the office closure at 7 pm.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

Cancellations are to be made at least 24 hours prior to the check in date and time. Cancellations received less than 24 hours may incur a full payment amount for the first cancelled night.

How do I guarantee my booking?

Credit card details are required as part of the booking process. Full payment is to be made upon arrival, please have your credit card and drivers licence ready to be presented upon check-in. Guests must be able to produce identification on check-in at the Motel. If no identification is available then the booking will be cancelled.
Booking with credit card details are considered secure and confirmed, should you wish to call and confirm the time of arrival it would be greatly appreciated.

Are you pet friendly?

We are NOT a pet friendly motel, for health and safety reasons no animals excluding guide, hearing or assistance dogs are permitted on the premises. If guide, hearing or assistance dogs are required than the disability access rooms will need to be booked.

Do you have free parking?

Yes, complimentary parking is provided.

Are your rooms non-smoking?

Yes, as per Queensland legislation all rooms at the Petrie Mill Motel are strictly non-smoking. However, we do have designated smoking areas.

Do you have room service?

Yes, breakfast can be ordered at the on-site café the day prior and can be delivered to your room by the café, arrangements for this service need to be made directly with the on-site café.
Arrangements for other meals can be organised directly with the café as well.

Do you have free wireless internet?

Yes, we provide free WiFi access to all guests staying at the Motel.

How close are you to shops?

Next door to the Motel is a small shopping centre. The centre has Woolworths supermarket, Post Office, Bakery, Chinese restaurant and other speciality shops.
The North Lakes Shopping Centre is approximately 6.2km from the Motel, which is a much larger shopping centre with a large variety of retail stores.
